Too Busy to Scrap but Here is a Layout from the Zoo

Here are some monkeys we saw at the zoo!  These boys definitely follow the "like Father, like son" motto!  This was a quick one. I just cut out some Basic Grey paper on the Cricut, added a tag with some buttons, some CTMH stamps to the bottom, some ribbon and a brad! Yay, one layout completed!

Thanks for visiting!

My twin sister and me at Christmas 1967 with our Daddy and Mommy

I made this layout of my Daddy and Mommy holding us twins in 1967 at Christmas!  I used My Mind's Eye for the paper and chipboard (except the large ornament, which is Harmonie), the green ribbon is CTMH and the red ribbon came from some Godiva chocolate that I got for Christmas this year!  The scallop at the top is from GCD.  Each small ornament has a jewel from the I-ROCK--hard to tell from the photo, but it's fun in real life! The large ornament has 3 jewels and some Stickles... I thought it turned out well!
This LO qualifies for By the Cute and Girly (bling on ALL of the ornaments plus the paper is very sparkly)!

Memphis Zoo-March 2010

I made this layout based on Artful Delight's monthly sketch!  I used Adornit's Misty Collection. I think the papers are so beautiful!  I used CTMH ribbons and snaps.

Memphis Zoo -- Polar Bears

Well, my photography is crooked again. Only 1 in 50 turn out straight! You get the idea anyway, right??

I made this page for a challenge on Sketches 4 All/You. It is for Stacy H W's weekly challenge. This week's challenge was to use bling and make a monochromatic blue layout! Stacy gives out really nice RAKs for the challenge. I recommend that you check out Sketches 4 All/You because they have a lot of fun challenges!

BTW, have you forgotten about the Blue challenge over at Blue Moon Scrapbooking? There's still time! Check it out if you feel like doing a blue challenge!

Garden Girl

I made this card this morning for the http://www.couturecardstock.com/blog challenge to use red. The rose on their inspiration piece got me in the mood for gardening.  Earlier, I had seen a sketch on PCP that inspired the particular layout!  I used Couture Fallen Leaf--which is so gorgeous in person! Patterned paper is Cosmo Cricket--goes so nicely with the Couture!

Caardvarks Photo Inspiration Challenge / Stamp Simply #130 - A Color Challenge

If you would like to play along:

NOTE:  Green butterfly has Tim Holtz Crackle Paint; Salmon colored butterflies are on white glossy paper which I inked with shades of pink/salmon/green and then spritzed with water and sprinkled with salt until it dried.  Cut butterflies out with a Martha Stewart punch!
