Elephant with Banners

I haven't been very crafty since last week! This is the extent to which my craftiness led me this week so far. I am planning on doing some scrapbooking today!!! I made a tag on a black base card for a couple of challenges: Simon Says ,,,,, Dies to Die For challenge. The die I used is the Sizzix tag. I also was inspired by Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger: Delightfully Random! I used red and blue and the banners! I also entered my friend Stacy's challenge to use a tag!

Thanks for stopping by! It makes my day!

Six Flags in 2007

I created this using Sketches in Thyme challenge 9. I flipped the sketch and only used one photo! I entered it at Practical Scrappers anniversary celebration and will also enter it Week 2- What Shape are you in Challenge???? to use circles at the  The Paper Trail(this challenge is just for fun! I don't even want to think about how many circles are on this page! From the holes in the border strip, to the dots on flower-shaped diecut, to the buttons, to the dots on the Jillibean journaling block there are quite a few!

I Left My Heart in San Francisco

I made this for Frosted Design's Songs of Our Life **Song Lyric Challenge** and Sketches in Thyme Challenge 7 sketch!  Obviously, I used "I left my heart in San Francisco" as the song! :-)

Pinwheel Card

I was really excited that my card was one of the cards Paige picked to display on Cards Magazine's blog today! Our challenge was to use pinwheel/s on a card! I don't submit very often, because I'm not that confident about my work, but I'm glad I did this week!! :-)

Mitch and his New Jeep (either 1997 or 1998)

I made this for Scrap and Stamp's challenge to use the color red and at least one stamp. You can easily see the red but the stamp says: come out and play and the little exhaust from the car is also a stamp!  I love going back and doing some of my older pictures of my son! I started scrapbooking when he was five and go back every once in a while and do a few of the older pages. It seems like there are always newer pictures that need to be scrapbooked--though the older ones are a lot of fun!!!!

Me doing what I love the most - Scrapbooking!

I created this LO for Scrap Whispers! It is rare for me to let anyone take my picture, but I decided it would be good to have a LO of me doing something I love so much! I used Cosmo Cricket's Material girl for most of the LO.  I also included things I love to use in scrapbooking:  buttons (Daisy D and misc.), ribbon, butterflies, crackle paint, shimmerz (I just received from a blog friend-usually I make my own), flowers, brads, Fiskars treading water border punch, ink, scallop punch).
