My twin sister and me at Christmas 1967 with our Daddy and Mommy

I made this layout of my Daddy and Mommy holding us twins in 1967 at Christmas!  I used My Mind's Eye for the paper and chipboard (except the large ornament, which is Harmonie), the green ribbon is CTMH and the red ribbon came from some Godiva chocolate that I got for Christmas this year!  The scallop at the top is from GCD.  Each small ornament has a jewel from the I-ROCK--hard to tell from the photo, but it's fun in real life! The large ornament has 3 jewels and some Stickles... I thought it turned out well!
This LO qualifies for By the Cute and Girly (bling on ALL of the ornaments plus the paper is very sparkly)!

Homecoming 2010 -- with a little bling and some flowers

I created this for the Scrap Room and Sketches 4 All.  The bling is ZVA. I pop-dotted the black flower over the blue flowers! I thought I'd keep this one  simple!

Saugatuck Dunes, Michigan - take 2

Here's a quick LO that I did using Stacy HW's sketch for this week that I entered in 2 challenges over at Sketches for All.  Stacy has weekly challenges and does some card challenges, too! She gives AWESOME RAKs--check it out!!

Walkin' on Sunshine

First time, I've combined challenges all on one site!!!  I made this for the TRIFECTA at Design Dollies! It meets the requirements for all 3 challenges this week:color:  yellow, white and kraft; element:  song from a TV show (I chose Glee's Halo/Walkin' on Sunshine) and the sketch;

For Scrapfit, I actually sprayed a yellow mist on the Kraft cardstock, but you can't see it in the picture! I also got some scallops wet, stamped a little flourish on them, made them into the yellow flower you see and then misted it with the yellow shimmery mist, too!

Saugatuck Dunes, Michigan

I WISH YOU COULD SEE THIS IN PERSON! IT'S SO MUCH PRETTIER-THE TEXTURE OF THE PAPERS ARE AMAZING! Plus the jewels and the glitter on the circle/sun rays make it pretty cute!

I created this for Sketchy Thursday's challenge. I used Core-dinations, GCD Studios and Lily Bee Design from a Scrapbooking from the Inside Out kit I won earlier called Courage; American Crafts, CTMH rub-on; letters from KaiserCraft; Fiskars threading water border punch; jewels from TPC Studio.

I was also inspired by this pendant from Cathy Walter's Etsy Shop:

for EtsyInspired and Practical Scrappers.

Haley and Mitch at Stephens Lake Park - Take 2

I used my new I-Rock on this layout! It takes a little getting used to, but it's quite fun! I'm sure I will be using it more in the future!  I created this for the color challenge on Design Dollies! I'm also entering it at Sketches 4 All!

Mitch and his Toys

I made this by scraplifting a layout by StacyRodriguez over at Sketches for All. I'm entering it in Practical Scrappers challenge to use the word "one" in your layout and in Frosted Designs challenge to use an arrow! I used up some old supplies and some new borders from GCD! Everything is more straight in real life!

Pandas at the Zoo in Memphis in Black and White

I did this for several challenges at  Sketches For All. Go over there for all of the fun challenges! There are usually prizes, but the challenges are just fun anyway!! :-) I added this to The Studio Challenge to use something as a mask--I have a heart just above the Hambly that I found in just lying around in my craft room and used it as a mask for my black home-made shimmery mist!

Pinwheel Card

I was really excited that my card was one of the cards Paige picked to display on Cards Magazine's blog today! Our challenge was to use pinwheel/s on a card! I don't submit very often, because I'm not that confident about my work, but I'm glad I did this week!! :-)

Grand Haven, Michigan

Well, after trying several pictures and several papers/embellishments etc., I finally found what I wanted to do for this great sketch by Liz Qualman for Sweet Peach Crop Shop's monthly challenge.  They would prefer that we use their kits, but I didn't have one.  The sketch was just too good to pass up!  AND, it was after I received Scrapbooking from the Inside Out's Courage kit that I found the exact papers I wanted to use!! No, my layout is not about courage, but I was able to find some great scrapbooking inspiration when I opened the kit (which is therapy to me)!!!

Here is the sketch:
