Amy Knollmeyer Photography photos of Mitch's Girlfriend

I made this layout of my son's girlfriend. She was supposed to be a "snake." Such a pretty snake, indeed!  The photos were taken by a professional during a "Vogue" style session.  I had fun making my own background in the upper right using a mask and some paints, and Tim Holtz distress stains in a blue and white color (don't have the bottles right here). I love how this turned out! I made it for Simon Says Make Your Own Background!!!

Thanks for looking. Let me know you stopped by, and I'll come visit you!!!

Have a great day!

A Charmed Life

I made this for my friend Stacy's challenge!  I just bought the Simple Stories collection and thought it went perfectly with my photos!!!  Our little Charlie was definitely still a pup in these photos. In the third one, he was doing the "swim" before he got distracted by some activity in the park!!!  I added some American Crafts velum (transparent) hearts, so I'm also adding this to Simon Says Transparent challenge!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for visiting! If you leave me a comment, I'll do my best to get around to you! I have been so busy, I'm surprised I found time to scrap!!! :-)

Mitch and Emily

Here's a sweet photo of Mitch and Emily. They were making Christmas cookies! She had just gotten off from work and was a little sleepy so she was resting her head on Mitch's arm when he leaned over to kiss her forehead! How very sweet! Anyway, I used two different collections of Pink Paislee on this. I also layered the photo with three mats which is rare for me! I rubbed some Distress ink on the photo as well as the mats. I also decided to add a corner punch to the photo to emphasize it a little bit. I sprayed a little bubblegum Tattered Angels on the background paper.  It is one of my favorite layouts that I've done in a while--mainly because of what it represents! The happiness of two of my favorite people!!!

I am entering this into Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday Challenge - Shape it Up! The three small die-cut hearts are my 3 alike shapes! I also used 3 different patterned papers to fit Simon Says Stamp's latest challenge.  Two are in felt.

Thanks for visiting!!!

Love

I made this layout of all of the Massman boys and their wives! We had these fun photos taken when we had some group family photos taken in November.  I made it using Sketchy Thursday's LAST sketch. Boo hoo! I love their sketches! Anyway, I finished it this evening just in time to enter into The Paper Variety's challenge to use black/white and a kiss of color.  The sketch and prompt seemed to go perfectly with the photos!!!! Don't you agree?

Thanks for visiting!

Haley and Mitch in Florida - Take 2

When I saw this sketch by Liz Qualman over at Sweet Peach Crop Shop, I knew that I had the perfect pictures to go with it!  I thought it was so fun to use hearts instead of pennants for my banners!  Since Mitch went to Florida with Haley's parents this summer, I didn't get as many photos as I normally would have gotten.  So, this layout plus this layout are the only layouts I'll do of them at the beach!  The shot on the left is one of the "standard" poses we usually get--I love the goofy sideways glance Haley gives Mitch in it!

You'll Be in My Heart

I made this for Sketchy Thursday's 9/9 weekly layout and for the Scrap it With a Song challenge 21. It's of my son and his girlfriend in Florida this summer!  I placed a Hambly screen print overlay over a really cool  DCWV sheet.  The pink strip on the side is mulberry paper and the hearts were cut from Anna Griffin.  The top letters are fabric Thickers and the bottom are from My Little Shoebox. Simple, but sweet, I thought!
