Peace Owl

Here is my Peace Owl canvas using 3 colors (blue, grey, and pink) of Faber Castell Gelatos. I love using them on canvas projects! I am entering this in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Trio of Colors.

Canvas with some fun new things I got for my birthday

So, I got some fun new Hazel & Ruby letter stencils (Dear Ruby) from my friend Lural for my birthday!!! So, when I saw the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge: Time to Grow/Botanical, I decided to try out modeling paste with a flower stencil along with the letters. I originally painted it with a light green chalk paint, and I felt it was hard to see the letters, so I went over the canvas with some gorgeous gelatos from Faber Castell. I also paperpieced/colored a cool Unity girl that I bought recently.  I'm sure I will do a better job next time, but I still kind of like the canvas!

Happy Fall

It has been a while since I entered any contests or posted here! We've been busy!  I decided that since Simon Says Stamp had an Anything Goes challenge that I would go ahead and make something!  I love making these Julie Nutting canvasses! So, I'm entering that.  We had our first Thanksgiving with Steve's extended family this weekend. Mitch got sick so he couldn't go but we had a great meal!

Another Canvas

I made this for the Simon Says Stamp on Anything but Plain Paper. Here, I've stamped on a canvas... :-) I just love the Julie Nutting dolls! I could make a million of these, but then what would I do with them all! I have hung three of them in my craft room already and gave this one away to Mitchell's ex-girlfriend who we still wish well!! :-)

Teenager canvas in Foil Dress

So, I made another canvas. I don't' know what I'm going to do with all of them. I made this one similarly to the ones I made earlier, but there is a bunch of shimmer/foil in the "fabric" of the dress.  I made this for Simon Says Anything Goes and my friend Stacy's challenge to get messy!

Canvas-Take 2 with an Owl

So, my latest obsession is making mixed media canvasses. . I embossed the belly of the Owl so it would fit my friend Stacy's challenge. I'd like to encourage you to enter her challenge-she is so sweet and leaves you love, and there is always a nice prize for someone!  I also decided to enter it into Simon Says Show Anything Goes. I used some Faber Castell gelatos that I won from them a long time ago as well as some distress paint and stamps!

Canvas is My Latest Obsession!

Holding Up the Tree

I  found this new to me sketch site:  My Scraps & More.  So, I thought I'd create a layout using one of their fabulous sketches (#28) and for Simon Says Stamp anything goes!!

Canvas Flower

Here is a canvas flower I made with my Sizzix.  I added some ink and Rock Candy Stickles on the large flower and some chalk ink on the smaller flower.  Then, I attached it with an American Crafts brad. I thought it turned out pretty cute for my first one!

Couture Cardstock - Use paint somewhere on your project!

Here is my entry for the challenge tonight! fun. Painted canvas--added a felt wave  and a little paper boat from my Cricut.
