Another Book -- This time a Baby Girl Book

It seems I am always making books lately. I made this little baby girl book for a Creating Keepsakes challenge to make a mini baby album.  I made it out of one piece of cardstock and then decorated it.  Technically it makes an 8 page book as you can decorate every 6" inch square, but I left two pages "white" with only a small decoration to write some journaling.  I am entering it in my friend Stacy's challenge to use at least two punches or diecuts. I used a butterfly, a flower, the large hexagon and the pocket. I got the jewels from Peachy Cheap.  I'll be entering this in the Simon Says Anything Goes Challenge, too.

Thanks for looking.

Christmas 2009

I'm still working on Christmas 2009 photos! I made this one for Scrapfit's challenge to include hand-made flowers! I mainly used Graphic 45 with the exception of the gold shimmery paper and brown mats which are DCWV. The ribbon is from CTMH and the poinsettia is from Hero Arts...

Thanks for looking! I appreciate everyone who stops by my blog! I'll know you were here if you leave a comment!

Have a great day!

Monochromatic Green Hydrangea

This GREEN monochromatic beauty is the card I made to be entered into Caardvark's Celebrating Core'dinations challenge.  This is such a fun challenge! I used a piece of green embossed Core'dinations card stock as my focal background paper.  It is so much fun to use. I sanded it and roughed up the edges.  It sure handles well!!  I used Hero Arts' hydrangea as the main image and also used it very subtly on the card base and in the background of the piece where I stamped my image.  I put some stickles in the center of each little flower within the hydrangea.  I hope you like it! Green is my favorite color so I sure do!

Supply list:
Card Base:  Bazzill Basics Paper Pear Crush
Next layer:  Core'dinations CE Amazon Seeding (love this one)
Next layer:  Bazzill Basics Paper Kiwi Crush
Next layer: Making Memories
Stamp:  Hero Arts Hydrangea
Ribbon and spiral clip: CTMH
Ink: CTMH (Clover Meadow and Garden Green)
Fiskars: Corner Punch

Lemon Yellow Sunny Card

Etsy Inspired Challenge #83 - The Mouse Market

Springtime Lemon Chiffon Cake (1/12 scale)http://www.etsy.com/shop/mousemarket

I found this cool challenge where you take an image from an Etsy site and then make a card inspired by it! I love Etsy--my husband is an artisan that uses Etsy, too!  So, naturally I decided to play along.  I was inspired by the lemon creation you see above to create this sunny little card! My friend made me the sweet little white crochet flower so I was excited to use it in this card!! Thanks for looking--I hope you enjoy it!
