We attended the internment of our nephew Alex Saturday morning. It was tough for everyone. It was exactly two months after his tragic death! Later that afternoon, though, we attended the wedding of one of my husband's cousins! We experienced a roller coaster of emotions that day! I thought I would share the "cake" and the table arrangements from the wedding. I was lucky because I got to bring one of the arrangements home! The bride's mother (Steve's aunt) is a florist! All of the flowers are real except the Gerbera Daisy (which will make it so easy to make a scrapbook page later--I can also use some of the green polka dot ribbon for it)! :-)
Wow that is a tough week-end of emotions. So sorry for you loss. Can't even imagine.
ReplyDeleteKelly, that would be a roller coaster day for me...such sadness and then such joy. Joni

ReplyDeletewow what a day! The cycle of life... beginnings and endings. I'm glad the day ended on a happy note.
ReplyDeleteSounds like both events went very well. I LOVE the cupcake tower up to the cake on top. So pretty!! You should totally use that picture as inspiration for a layout!! Big hugs my friend.
